Curious about the building?
It was built in the 1930's to house the Kentfield Garage. Later it became an antique store and, still later, a real estate office. We like to think The Half Day Cafe is the best incarnation yet!

The Half Day Cafe is located on College Avenue in Kentfield across the street from the College of Marin. From Highway 101, take Sir Francis Drake Blvd. going west for about 3 miles. Turn left at the stoplight at College Avenue (the Kentfield Fire Station will be on your right). We are located halfway down the block on the left side. There is a large parking lot behind the restaurant.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
We do not take reservations for any size party- we are "first come, first serve." However, if you call ahead for large parties it can help us to accommodate you more easily.
We are open 7 days a week, Monday-Friday from 7am-2:30pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 8am-2:30pm. On and around major holidays we often serve our weekend brunch menu all day and adjust our hours accordingly (opening at 8am). Please call ahead to confirm our hours on holidays. We are closed on Thanksgiving day and Christmas day.
